Excellent service

Wells strives to provide the highest standard of service on the market, from detailed project management, bespoke formula capability, close technical and commercial contact through to rapid sample manufacture and a dynamic and nimble manufacturing process and after sales support and follow up.

A reliable & strong technical partner

Our Technical Team is headed up by Dr Gary Ogden and Wells has been involved as a prominent partner for many years in an extensive and varied range of collaborative research work through both European and National funding bodies.

In addition to this is a raft of highly successful intercompany and academic research work has been completed which has benefited customers by providing highly bespoke and specialised polymer solutions. These important links forged between academia and industry is the key to providing the very best solutions available on the market to our customer base.

Handling complex materials & solutions

The role of an additive masterbatcher is to transform a range of materials which may have different physical states at room temperature, incompatibility with polymer or other components and produce a homogenous uniform pellet.

This allows the end user to receive all the benefits of those materials in a preformulated recipe, removing any difficulty or inconsistency of the dosing. Wells removes the need for the processor to handle liquids, powders and flakes, providing a high-quality single pellet solution with the functionality needed.

Based in the UK & working across the Globe

Wells products reach a truly international customer base from the Americas through to the Far East. With an extremely strong presence in the UK and Europe serving a range of clients from polymer producers through to medical device manufactures Wells products are service are established within the industry.

Wells keeps at the forefront of global plastics industry requirements through active membership of a number of internationally recognised industry and standard bodies such as ASTM, BSi, SBF, BPF, as well as providing expert advice to support and guide customers, NGOs and national bodies in the correct selection and use of plastic products.
