Wells Performance Materials has extensive experience in providing bespoke contract and toll compounding services to the global polymer industry, from a few hundred kilos to 1000t
The manufacturing facility and equipment is designed and configured to handle difficult materials with complex requirements. Wells are capable of dispersing and encapsulating a wide range of active powders, pellets, prills, flakes, waxes, low melting point liquids through to ultra viscous materials into a variety of polymer bases from polyolefins through to biobased and biopolymer systems.
Helping you make your innovations a reality, Wells are often approached by forward thinking chemical producers who are considering launching new products into the polymer industry to act as industry consultant, R&D facility and ultimately, manufacturer.
Wells offers a full range of Bespoke Polymer Services in order to help develop processing and performance parameters, and manufacturing. A recently opened fully equipped Innovation Centre, with extensive facilities, supports the development of new products and formulations allowing Wells to provide a full-service solution to its customers from sample development to product efficacy testing through to full scale commercial production.

Laboratory Services.
Wells Performance Materials supports new client product development with a range of in-house production and test facilities, for more sophisticated projects the laboratory facility is available for rental which includes supporting staff to maximise the chances of success.
In addition to a laboratory compounding facility, we have injection moulding and blown film capability for rapid prototyping and a range of analytical techniques to characterise materials and performance.
